•        Coco peat is the non- fibrous, Spongy, light weight corky material which is made from coir fiber in coconut husk
•          Before using, the coco peat is immersed in water. This 5kg coir block expands up to 2.25 cubic feet  i.e. 25kg (expands 5 times of its weight)
•         Coco peat has high water holding capacity that maintains the moisture level typically from 15 to 20%.
•         It can hold water up to 8 times of its weight
•          It is biodegradable and degrades after a long time
